INFINITI has quite a lineup, and the sporty 2016 INFINITI QX50 is among their finest. Formerly known as the EX, the QX50 is taking the compact-luxury-crossover segment to new heights. Here are the 5 reasons to buy to new 2016 INFINITI QX50.

Sporty Feel

On the road, the fun-to-drive INFINITI QX50 packs a serious punch. The 3.7-liter V6 has a healthy 325 horsepower with 267 lb-feet of torque. In either trim and in base rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, it’s sure to deliver some solid fun. Through turns, the INFINITI QX50’s weight is centered thanks to INFINITI’s Front Midship (FM) platform, which adds to the performance.

Exquisite Interior

Upscale and attractive, the INFINITI QX50’s interior has high-end materials throughout. A 7-inch central display screen with USB and Bluetooth, a power moonroof, heated front seats and dual-zone climate control all come standard. We recommend adding the maple interior accents, which really make the cabin even more classy.

Sufficient Space

INFINITI decided to extend the INFINITI QX50’s wheelbase, and the result is 4.3 added inches of legroom in the rear seats. Behind the 60/40-split rear seat is a satisfactory 18.6 cu ft. of cargo. There’s also optional power up-folding second-row seating, which comes in handy when hauling cargo.

Great Value

As far as price point, compact-luxury carmakers will have a hard time competing with the INFINITI QX50’s sticker. Well-equipped at under $36,000, the INFINITI QX50 has value that’s hard to match. Even the all-wheel-drive trim checks in at under $37,000, which is not too shabby for the luxury-crossover segment.

Feature-Friendly

The INFINITI QX50 comes with generous standard features out of the gate. They include 18-in alloys, keyless ignition and automatic halogen headlights. A few package upgrades include many potential options, but we especially like the 11-speaker Bose premium audio system and the technology of INFINITI’s Intelligent Cruise Control tech, which automatically slows and accelerates for you.

Autotrader Says:

Compact crossovers are on the rise. The INFINITI QX50 has the luxury of the INFINITI name, fabulous features and a great dose of athleticism, all priced at an unbeatable value. Crossover shoppers should take a spin in the 2016 INFINITI QX50.
